Well lately is been in the news tabloids and blogs about Kanye West and his interrupting of the VMA's. So a day or two after it happened i called my Grandma to see what her take on it was and guess what she said it was racism. Well a little back ground information on my grandma: My grandma is originally from Atlanta. Also My grandma marched with MLK jr. and knew Hosea Williams personally. She has 6 children(1 dead), a widow and over 20 grandchildren. Well back to what my grandma said she said that Kanye jumped on stage and said what he said because Taylor Swift was white. She later followed and said that it gets on her nerves that two of my smaller cousins love white people but they don't understand that they are evil. So for my closing statements Are white people evil? Are blacks racists against whites? And was Kanye wrong for what he did? I already know my answers to these questions i just want to know what your opinion is. Peace out.
no i dont think white people are evil, its that alot of them did evil things to blacks in the past but we also have to give credit where its due for the many white people who tried to help us in the past, so no all white people aren't evil, yes there are some of them that still are and they will get judged accordingly but many of them dont even see color.....my grandma is similar to your grandma...she doesnt like white people because she lived through a time where she was abused, spit on, not able to go to school , beat and everything inhumanely imaginable so i personally think she has a right to be racist because she is hurt by her past and there is nothing anyone could do to change it, but there is no reason for me to hate white people because i havent personally experienced hatred by them, well i have but not in the magnitude my grandmother experienced it, i will never be able to know what she went through, the kind of hate she stood and went against...its a really hateful world out there...Kanye was dead wrong, and i dont know if it was a white black thing, which now i think about it may have been but kanye is hust a jerk and thats all there is to it!
